Saat ini dunia telah di gencarkan oleh pandemi covid-19. Seluruh lapisan masyarakat ikut terkena dampaknya. Mulai dari tingkat pendidikan, pariwisata, sosial, ekonomi, dan hampir seluruh ikut merasakan nya. Dengan keadaan yang seperti ini masih ada oknum oknum yang memanfaatkan situasi seperti yang sedang terjadi saat ini. Mereka tidak memikirkan saudara saudara nya yang sedang kesusahan demi kepuasan harta semata sampai tega melakukan perbuataan tersebut. Mengawali pelaksanaan PSBB tahap III, Kabupaten Gresik justru mendapat tambahan pasien positif Covid-19 sebanyak 19 orang. Tambahan itu berasal dari pasien dalam pemantauan (PDP) . Sementara dari hasil tracing atau penelusuran dan dan Orang Tanpa Gejala (OTG) tidak ada. Pemerintah Kabupaten Gresik menyetujui untuk memperpanjang Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) Surabaya Raya hingga 8 Juni 2020 dengan tema Penegakan Protokol Kesehatan.
